Last updated: 11 August 2026

Magnevi Studio is operated by Elena Kraynova ("Magnevi", "we", "us" or "our"), a UK-based online business making personalised photo magnets. Elena Kraynova is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

Contact us by email at magnevistudio@icloud.com or by post at Silverdale, The Street, Takeley, CM22 6LY, United Kingdom. Magnevi operates online only and does not accept customer visits at this address.

1. Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, delivery details, order number, selected magnet pack, order notes, messages and the photographs you upload. We also receive limited payment and transaction information from Stripe, such as payment status and transaction reference. We do not receive or store your full card details.

Our website and hosting providers may also process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, security logs and the pages requested.

2. How and why we use your information

  • To take payment, create, deliver and support your order — necessary to perform our contract with you.
  • To answer questions, prevent fraud, keep the service secure and improve our business — our legitimate interests.
  • To keep tax, accounting and transaction records and respond to lawful requests — compliance with legal obligations.
  • To send marketing only where you have consented or where the law otherwise permits it. You can opt out at any time.

3. Your photographs

We use uploaded photographs only to fulfil and support your order. We will not publish them, use them in advertising, sell them or use them to train AI models without your separate, clear permission. You must have the right to supply every image you upload, including appropriate permission for images of children or other people.

4. Who receives your information

We share information only where necessary with service providers supporting our business, including Stripe for payments, website hosting and secure file-storage providers, delivery providers, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights. These organisations may act as independent controllers or processors under their own terms.

5. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires it, we use an adequacy regulation, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.

6. How long we keep information

Order, payment and accounting records may be retained for up to six years where needed for legal, tax and dispute purposes. Uploaded photographs are kept only for production, delivery and a short period for resolving order issues, and are normally deleted within 90 days after dispatch unless we must retain them for an unresolved issue or you ask us to delete them sooner. Backup copies may take a limited additional period to expire.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet service is completely secure, so please send photographs only through our designated upload page and not through public social-media comments.

8. Your UK data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your information, and to receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions.

To exercise a right, email magnevistudio@icloud.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

9. Cookies and third-party links

We do not currently use advertising cookies on this website. Stripe and other linked services operate their own websites and may use cookies or process information under their own privacy notices.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The latest version will always appear on this page with its revision date.
